The ten-session series is the hallmark of the Structural Integration process. It is intelligent, effective, and provides the foundation for further advanced work. The ten-session "recipe" is an applied study of interrelated body systems and the relationship between structure and function. The genius of the Rolf work is the profound recognition that localized symptoms in the body are never simply local, but global in nature.

After the basic ten series, clients generally allow several months before scheduling follow up sessions. Once an individual has been Rolfed, they have a "new" body in the felt sense and sufficient time is necessary for a process of personal integration. At that point, post-ten work may take different forms. Periodic "tune-up" sessions are popular and useful. An advanced series is also available, usually in a format of 3-5 sessions.

Ida Rolf loved working with children and kids of all ages can benefit from a modified approach to the Rolf work. Teenagers may receive a series of sessions appropriate to their development. Younger children receive a reduced rate. Please contact me to discuss Structural Integration for your child.
